How it works
Three moves, and no one in between
You write to the person who will open their door to you. They answer you themselves, and the stay is agreed between you: no basket, no commission, nobody passing messages along.
You search
A destination, some dates, how many of you there are — and what you see is the catalogue’s real order. No address buys its place in your results; an address that has been pushed up is labelled “Promoted”, in plain words.

You write
Your message reaches the owner, not a shared inbox: you have their name, their introduction, and it is they who answer you. Nothing is filtered, no contact detail is taken out of your text, and we do not read your exchanges. Their telephone number appears on the page when they have chosen to give it.
What we do with your data
You agree on the stay
The price, the dates, the arrival time, the contract, the deposit: it is all settled with them, as between two people who have spoken. We do not touch the money of your stay, and we are not a party to the contract.

You wrote, you agreed. All that is left is to open the door.
The questions we are asked
Why is there no online booking?
Because it requires a commission, and a commission requires a middleman. We would rather leave the two of you to talk.
Are the reviews checked?
No, and we will never claim otherwise. Under each review stands what we actually know: this person wrote to the owner for those dates, and the owner replied.
What happens if the owner does not reply?
Their reply rate appears on their listing once five enquiries have been closed there; before that, the listing shows none. We promise no deadline on their behalf.
Do you pay owners to appear here?
It is the other way round: they pay a yearly subscription. None of them can buy a place in the Collection.
